About C&D Construction and Tree Service

Hastings lays out square and open under a sky that takes up most of the view, and the shade there was planted street by street on purpose. C&D Construction and Tree Service tends it, pruning hackberry and honeylocust back into shape, trimming limbs off porch roofs and alley wires, removing a bur oak gone hollow in sections over a fence. Hail and straight-line wind come through in July with no warning worth speaking of, and the next morning cleanup is the whole day: cut, drag, chip, rake, and get the drive open. The pleasure of it is the after, a boulevard swept, a crown lifted so light falls on the porch again. Come autumn those same streets go copper end to end, which is what all the work was for.
