About Fischer Midwest Tree

West of Hartington the farmsteads sit tucked behind long rows of cedar and cottonwood, windbreaks planted against the wind sweeping off the open Cedar County plains. Fischer Midwest Tree spends its winter afternoons working those same section-line roads, clearing the packed drifts that pile up wherever a shelterbelt funnels the wind across a farm lane. The crew reads the land the way the trees do — where the snow will drift, where a lane will scour bare, where a gate will need shoveling by hand. Out past the edge of town, plowing a farmstead clean before dusk means one more family gets the mail truck through and the propane truck up the drive. As the light goes flat and gray over the fields, the last blade pass leaves a clean black lane running straight back to the yard light.
