About Miles Lawn & Landscaping

Grand Island lies where the Lincoln Highway runs flat and straight toward the horizon, and along US 30 the grain elevators stand up like white punctuation against a very wide sky. Miles Lawn & Landscaping works the yards underneath it — mowing, trimming, edging, and the landscape work that gives a corner lot its shape. Late August comes in warm and loud with the state fairgrounds full, and a lawn cut clean the day before company arrives is its own quiet form of hospitality. There is a real satisfaction in the final pass of the mower, when the stripes line up square with the street and the driveway edge reads like a drawn line. Then the Hall County light goes long and gold, the work turns to cleanup, and the yard is put down easy for the cold.
