Carey's Lawnscape

About Carey's Lawnscape

Late August at Pier Park, the cottonwoods go loud in the wind and the heat finally lets go somewhere around seven. Carey's Lawnscape likes that hour — the last yard of the day, trimmer line ticking along a fence, the edge on a sidewalk cut so clean it reads like a pencil line. Mowing, edging, bed maintenance and shrub trimming, spring and fall cleanups, with the turf fed on a schedule the weather cannot talk out of it. Grand Island ground dries fast and greens fast, and both facts get respected. What gets left behind at dusk is a lawn with definition.
