About Burmood Property Care

For a few weeks every March the sky over Gibbon belongs to the sandhill cranes, half a million of them dropping onto the braided channels of the Platte just south of town, and the whole place tips its head back to watch. Then the birds go north, the corn ground greens, and Burmood Property Care starts the year's real rhythm: mowing, edging, trimming, and hauling off the winter's leftover mess from yards along Gibbon's quiet streets. It is honest week-in, week-out work on a river town that spends part of the year as a spectacle and the rest of it simply getting on with things. A lawn cut even and clean, right up to the walk, is its own modest kind of order. The river keeps braiding; the grass keeps coming; somebody has to keep it looking right.
