About Yard Groomers LLC

Fremont wakes slowly along the Platte, river fog lying low over the bottomland until the sun burns it up off the cottonwoods. Yard Groomers LLC is usually out before that happens, decks set and dew still on the grass, working the shaded lots on the old streets where the trees lean out over the curb line. Lawn care here means reading a Dodge County summer — the fast green that follows a June rain, then the scorched weeks of August when a blade dropped too low costs a yard a month of looking right. The satisfaction is in the finish: a clean run of edge along the sidewalk, clippings blown back off the concrete, stripes laid straight down a long front yard. Fremont is a grid town with a great many corners, and every corner is one more chance to leave the line sharp.
