About YardBotics

West of town the sandpit lakes hold the last of the light, and then the sky over Dodge County turns copper while thunderheads stack up somewhere past the Elkhorn. YardBotics works the tail end of days like that — mowing, string trimming, the close pass around a mailbox post — once the heat has finally let go of the turf. Out here a lawn is a small deliberate green square set against section after section of corn, so the difference between cut and kept reads plainly from the road. Autumn hands over its own list: leaves pulled off the grass, beds cleared back, the last mow taken a notch shorter before the cold settles into the ground. What the work is for is simple enough — a yard that looks tended right out to the property line, on a street where the neighbors drive past it twice a day.
