About Siffring Landscaping & Garden Center

By January, the greenhouse rows at Siffring Landscaping & Garden Center sit quiet under their own coat of snow, benches empty where summer's bedding plants will crowd back in come April. That quiet doesn't mean idle — the crew that waters flats all summer spends winter mornings clearing driveways around Fremont, working out toward the lakes on the edge of town where the old sand pits sit frozen over by January. There's continuity in tending the same ground through every state it takes, snow-covered now, green again eventually, always somebody there keeping it usable. Around Fremont's streets and out toward the lakes, that's the plainest version of the job: clear a path today, get the greenhouse ready for whatever comes next.
