About Sprinklers Plus

In summer, Elwood's story is water: Johnson Lake shining north of town and canals carrying irrigation across the Gosper County fields. Sprinklers Plus is a sprinkler business that turns to snow removal once all that water turns to ice. Out here the cold rides across wide, unsheltered country, and after a storm the county seat lies under a deep, unbroken white. The work is opening driveways and walkways back down to pavement, and the scrape of a freshly cleared path is the sound of the town getting back on its feet. The summer work waits patiently underneath, and Elwood goes about its errands.
