About Holmes Lawn Service, Inc.

The MoPac East Trail runs right through Eagle on the old rail grade, crushed limestone under the trees, riders coming out of Lincoln all morning and turning around by the elevator. Holmes Lawn Service, Inc. works the blocks on either side of that line — village lots, corner yards, and acreages out where the cropland picks up again a quarter mile past Main. Mowing, trimming, edging, and the walks left swept. A yard finished before the heat of the day has a quiet completeness about it: lines straight, edges sharp, nothing left to do but look. Eagle and the small towns nearby get that same finish, one week to the next.
