Penner Sprinkler and Lawn

About Penner Sprinkler and Lawn

Just outside Denton the tallgrass at Spring Creek Prairie still carries the swales of old wagon trails, and the wind crosses it the way it must have then, bending the big bluestem in long slow waves. Penner Sprinkler and Lawn works the village and the acreages in those rolling loess hills, where a single yard can hold four different grades and a mower has to be driven rather than merely pushed. Mowing, string trimming, edging, and clearing the cut grass off the hard surfaces. August out here turns dry and the turf says so plainly; the answer is a taller cut and a steady hand week to week. Denton and the country southwest of Lincoln, tended the whole way through the season.
