AB Turf Care

About AB Turf Care

North of Columbus the ground opens toward Lake Babcock and Lake North, and the wind that crosses that water in June is the same wind that pulls a lawn dry by the third week of July. AB Turf Care reads the season in the color of the blades — where a yard is thinning, where the edge along a walk has crept over, where a mowing height wants to come up an inch. The routine is mowing, trimming and edging, with the clippings gathered off the hard surfaces before the trailer gate goes up. By evening the stripes lie down in the low light and the whole yard reads as one piece instead of a patchwork. Turf that gets looked at, not just cut: it is a small thing to care about, and worth caring about.
