Mowing and More

About Mowing and More

In Chappell, winter announces itself across miles of wheat stubble long before it reaches town, a gray wall moving over the Panhandle with the wind at its back. Mowing and More meets it with snow removal: driveways scraped clear, sidewalks opened, the drifts that pile up in the dark cut back so mornings can begin. The Union Pacific keeps its long trains moving down the valley in all weather, and a cleared drive lets the rest of town keep pace. On a January morning, with the streetlights still on and frost feathering the windows, the first clean path out the door is a welcome sight. Whatever else the name promises, in a Panhandle winter this is the part that matters.
