About Heins Lawn & Landscape

By the time the light goes flat and gold over the Central City golf course in late afternoon, the fairways already carry a fresh coat and the neighborhood blocks nearby have gone quiet under it. Heins Lawn & Landscape works those residential streets near the elementary school and the ballfields, clearing driveways and walkways so a Merrick County household isn't stuck chipping at ice before a Tuesday shift. The Platte valley wind has a way of sweeping loose snow back across a cleared drive within the hour, so the crew often makes a second pass at the same address before dark. Sidewalks get shoveled down to the concrete, not just pushed aside, and salt goes out along the steps where the afternoon melt tends to refreeze overnight. It's steady work, the same driveways cleared again each time the sky lets go over Central City.
