Washington County Mowers

About Washington County Mowers

The courthouse in Blair anchors the whole county, and on a Monday morning in May the routes start out from that square and spread across Washington County while the sun is still low over the river. Washington County Mowers runs those miles — town lots first, then out to the smaller places where the yards grow bigger and the traffic disappears. A mowing route done right has its own rhythm: same day, same height, same clean line along the drive, so nobody has to think about it. Late spring grass grows faster than anyone can chase, which makes a steady week-to-week schedule the entire product. By the time the truck comes home the county has a few dozen more yards squared away.
