About Woodys Lawn and Landscape

Bennet's Main Street is short enough that clearing it feels more like tidying a driveway than plowing a town, a single block running past the elevator toward the highway. Woodys Lawn and Landscape treats it that way, working the handful of business fronts and the houses stacked in close behind them before fanning out to the edges of the village. The elevator marks the skyline here the way a water tower does in a bigger place, and on a still morning after a storm its shadow falls clean across a stretch of freshly cleared sidewalk. Everyone on these blocks knows everyone else's driveway, so the crew works door to door rather than route to route, checking in as much as clearing snow. By midmorning the short main block sits open under a big, flat sky, the elevator standing over a town small enough to see all at once.
