About Apex Outdoor Services LLC

The roads into Bennet run straight across open farm ground for miles before they ever bend, and in winter that means wind has a long, clean run at every driveway along the way. Apex Outdoor Services starts its mornings out on those approach roads, working farmstead lanes and rural driveways before turning in toward the village itself. Out here the drifts build against fence lines and shelterbelts first, long ridges of snow that reach halfway across a lane before the open field beyond it is barely dusted. The crew clears a path wide enough for a grain truck as readily as one for a sedan, since half of what they plow feeds back onto the highway toward Lincoln. By midmorning the farmsteads sit open again, gravel showing dark against white fields stretching out toward the horizon on every side.
