About Baker Home and Lawn Services

Sound arrives first in this part of Bellevue — a tanker out of Offutt climbing over the neighborhoods off Fort Crook Road, the mower answering a beat later. Baker Home and Lawn Services keeps to the afternoons here, cutting the long straight blocks where the lawns run flat and open to a very large sky. Edges get their own pass, held clean along the drive and the walk, so the line between grass and concrete reads like a drawn one. Grass clippings come off the hard surfaces before the truck moves on. Spring and fall the same yards get their cleanup, and the season closes tidy across Bellevue and over toward Papillion.
