About KK Enterprises

The dirt oval at the Beatrice Speedway sits idle all winter, nothing like the nights it's full of noise and headlights come racing season, and by January it's just another stretch of open ground collecting snow along with the gravel lots around it. KK Enterprises works those lots through the off-season, clearing the grandstand areas and access roads so the grounds don't sit buried until spring. There's an odd stillness to plowing a place built for crowds and engines when it's empty except for the truck doing the clearing, snow squeaking under the tires instead of tires spinning on dirt. The same lots have to stay passable for whoever needs to check on the grounds through winter, storm or not. It's off-season work at a place that's anything but quiet once racing season comes back around.
