Colson Lawn Care

About Colson Lawn Care

Chimney Rock stands off to the west of Bayard the way it stood over every wagon that ever came up the North Platte valley, and the town below it lives on irrigated ground between bluffs and river. Colson Lawn Care works those valley yards from the first green push in April, when the ditches start running and the beet fields go dark with water, mowing on a turn and trimming close where lawn meets gravel, fence and foundation. Edging brings the concrete back to a hard, clean line, and a yard finished that way holds its shape against the dust that blows off the fields. There is something worth taking pride in about a small river-valley town where the lawns are kept sharp under that much sky. Bayard and the towns up and down the valley are on the list.
