About S&S Tree Service (Stewart & Stewart Tree Service, LLC)

The cottonwoods along the Platte River bottoms outside Ashland carry a lot of snow in their bare winter branches, and S&S Tree Service knows those trees as well as anyone in town — they're usually the ones called out when a limb gives way under the weight. That same crew, and the same loader that clears brush most months, turns to pushing snow once the first real storm hits. They work driveways and lots tucked back under the tree canopy, where the snow banks up thick around every trunk and a regular plow sometimes can't get close enough to matter. It's a natural pairing: know the trees, know where the snow collects around them, clear both. By the time the ice lets go of the branches in late winter, the driveways underneath have stayed open the whole time.
