Hunting Lawn Care

About Hunting Lawn Care

This corner of southwest Nebraska draws pheasant hunters every fall, and the same rural roads and shelterbelts that hold birds in October go quiet and white by January, snow drifting into the ditches along fields that stood full of milo just months before. Hunting Lawn Care clears driveways and access lanes through that stretch of Furnas County, working properties set back from the road where a car needs a cleared path just to reach the mailbox. Winter out here tends to arrive on a hard north wind, and a lane plowed one morning can need a second pass by afternoon if the drifting picks back up. There's a plainspoken rhythm to it, one rural driveway after another, the kind of work that doesn't wait for better weather. By evening, the lanes running back from the road sit open, a dark line through fields gone quiet for the season.
