About S/S Sprinklers

By late July the heat over Alda shimmers off Highway 30, and the grass in the unwatered ditches has gone the color of straw. That is the stretch of summer when a lawn shows plainly how it has been kept. S/S Sprinklers looks after Alda lawns, under a name that speaks to the water every Nebraska lawn depends on. A deep green yard in a dry month is a small act of defiance against the prairie sun, and it is visible from the street at a glance. Between the rumble of Union Pacific trains and the evening chorus of crickets, it is a lovely thing to come home to.
