About Bab Inc

Out in Gage County, a January wind can come across the open farm ground with nothing to slow it, and by morning it has sculpted drifts down the village streets of Adams. Bab Inc answers that wind with snow removal, pushing back the white until a driveway reads like a driveway again. There is a particular satisfaction in it: a square-cornered path where an hour earlier there was only a dune. When the sky over the fields clears to that hard winter blue, Adams can get on with its errands. That small restored ordinariness is what the work is for.
