Natures Touch Lawn and Landscape

About Natures Touch Lawn and Landscape

Green arrives late in the Red River Valley and then all at once: one warm week in May and the boulevard trees leaf out, the shelterbelts fill in, and every lawn in town wakes up hungry. Natures Touch Lawn and Landscape meets that first surge with the heavy early cuts, the raking out of everything winter pressed flat, and the trimming that gives a young tree back its clean ring of ground. There is a particular pleasure in the first mow of the year, the smell of it carrying three houses down the block. Almost nothing on these streets is native -- the shade here was planted by people who wanted shade on a prairie -- so a West Fargo yard is something tended into being rather than found. Keeping it that way, week by week from thaw to freeze, is the whole of the job.
