About Dakota Property Services Landscaping and Fence

West of town the streets simply stop and the section land begins: wheat, sugar beets, and a wind that has been traveling a long while with nothing to slow it down. Dakota Property Services Landscaping and Fence works that edge, where lawn meets field and a boundary has to be kept honest. Late August turns the grass tough and the light goes gold by seven, which is the hour for trimming the corners a mower cannot reach. Out past Bonanzaville the old pioneer roofs sit above the prairie, a reminder of how long people here have been making tidy squares out of all that openness. The work is plain and repeated -- cutting, trimming along the property line, edging where turf gives way to gravel -- and there is a real quiet in standing back when the last corner is done.
