Ridgeview snow removal

About Ridgeview snow removal

The best mornings after a Canby storm are the cruel-clear ones: far below zero, sundogs standing on either side of a low sun, every surface squeaking underfoot. Ridgeview snow removal has usually been out since three, working driveways and parking areas so that when that sun finally clears the horizon the pavement is already black. Walks and steps are shoveled by hand, and salt or sand goes down on the shaded strip that never quite melts. When a storm keeps coming, so does the route, with a second pass and a third, whatever the night asks for. Waking to a cleared drive on a morning that cold feels a little like a gift.
