Johnny B's Trees and Service

About Johnny B's Trees and Service

South of Valley City the Sheyenne winds down its own valley, cottonwoods leaning over the water and the byway curling between wooded hills. Johnny B's Trees and Service works that country when the ice finally lets go and April shows what winter broke — hangers to take down, deadwood to clear, a crown to bring back into balance. Trees get trimmed or removed, brush gets hauled off, and the grass beneath gets mowed and tidied so the yard reads as one whole again. There is something good about standing back at the end of a day with the wood stacked, the ruts raked smooth and light coming through a canopy that finally has room in it. Around here a big old tree is part of the family, and it deserves to be handled that way.
