About D&R Dakota Company

The twin towers of Assumption Abbey rise over Richardton like two candles, and on a snowy dawn they are the first things in town to catch the light. D&R Dakota Company clears snow beneath them, freeing driveways and front paths whenever storms push in across Stark County. Some nights the snow falls soft and windless; other nights it comes sideways off the interstate and buries a front step in an hour. Either way the aim is the same, a path scraped down to the concrete and a drive cleared from garage door to street. When the abbey bells sound over a freshly cleared town, the whole day seems to begin on firmer footing.
