Dan's Snow Removal

About Dan's Snow Removal

Osnabrock is a tiny town in Cavalier County, up in North Dakota's northeast, where summer fields blaze yellow with canola and winter arrives early and stays long. Dan's Snow Removal keeps the town dug out through that long season, plowing driveways and clearing walks after storms that sweep down from Manitoba. Much of the work happens in the deep cold before daylight, when the winter constellations still burn sharp overhead and the snow creaks under the tires. Whatever the storm left behind, the job is to put it somewhere it will not be in anyone's way. When the sun finally climbs over the white fields, each cleared drive is a dark, clean stroke across a very big, very white page.
