Four Star AG

About Four Star AG

Chores start before sunrise on the farms around Oakes, and Four Star AG is usually out ahead of them, clearing the yards between the house and the machine shed while the cattle are still waiting on breakfast. Frost builds heavy on fence rails through a Dickey County night, and the lane out to the county road fills fast once the wind picks up across open stubble. Four Star AG works those farmstead lanes the way the land itself is laid out, straight runs between the buildings and a wide turn at the end for the feed truck. There's a set order to it: the yard first, then the lane, then the mailbox apron so the carrier can get through later in the day. On a clear morning the light comes up gold and flat across the stubble fields, and a freshly cleared yard catches it before anything else does. It's straightforward work, suited to the wide, working ground it's done on.
