About FTK llc.

Downtown Minot still keeps a stretch of Main Street close to the old Great Northern depot, and FTK LLC treats that block like the start of its day, clearing the sidewalks in front of the storefronts before the first customers arrive. From there the route moves out along the streets that fan away from downtown toward the residential blocks, driveways plowed in the order the crew has learned works best for a Minot storm, which rarely drops snow evenly across the whole city. Corners get special attention, since a plowed street can still leave a ridge at the crosswalk that a shovel has to finish by hand. Driveway aprons get cleared flush with the street so a car does not have to climb a berm just to get out. Ice near any shaded north-facing wall gets salted twice, once in the morning and again if the afternoon sun never quite reaches it. The whole route is built to have downtown moving before the rest of the city is even fully awake.
