Midwest Mowing & Irrigation

About Midwest Mowing & Irrigation

Down in the river bottom the cottonwoods hold their green longer than anything on the hill, and by late July the whole town is listening for rain that may or may not come. Midwest Mowing & Irrigation works Mandan lawns through that dry middle of the year — mowing at a height that shades the roots, trimming the borders, edging where turf runs up against concrete. Fertilization and weed control are timed to what the summer is actually doing, and when the heat finally lets go, aeration and overseeding thicken what came through it. Leaves get cleared in the fall so the crown of the grass isn't smothered over winter. Nothing here grows by accident; it grows because somebody planned the year out.
