Conitz Dreamscapes

About Conitz Dreamscapes

Take the road south out of Mandan and it climbs toward Fort Abraham Lincoln, where the bluff stands over the Missouri and the wind rarely takes a full day off. Conitz Dreamscapes keeps lawns in that country — cutting on a set rotation, trimming around posts and stone, and running a crisp edge along drives and sidewalks so the shape of a yard shows plainly. Feeding and weed control carry a lawn through the dry stretch of July, and fall brings aeration, overseeding and the long work of clearing leaves. There is a particular pleasure in stepping back at the end of an afternoon and seeing every line agree with the next. Out here, where the grass runs to the horizon anyway, a kept yard is a small deliberate act.
