About One And Done Construction

Just outside Larimore, the Turtle River's north and south branches come together into one channel, the two smaller streams finally joining before the water keeps on toward the Red River valley to the east. One And Done Construction plows the streets and driveways of a town built right at that confluence, where the ground dips just enough toward the water that drifted snow tends to slide and settle low near the river crossing before anywhere else. Upstream, the reservoir behind Larimore Dam holds its ice quiet through the cold months, and the access road there gets cleared alongside the town's own streets so the dam's own upkeep can keep moving all winter. Larimore sits along the Highway 2 corridor that runs the whole width of northern North Dakota, so a good part of the work is keeping the lots and approaches along that route open for whatever traffic still moves through on a bad day. By the time a storm has passed, the town near the river's two branches is usually first back to plain gravel and blacktop, the water beneath the ice never far from wherever the plow is working.
