About Double S Lawn Service, LLC.

North of town the dam backs the James up into a long reservoir, and on a June morning the wind comes off that water cool enough to make you glad you started at seven. Double S Lawn Service, LLC. runs its Jamestown route while the dew is still down, mower tires printing the wet grass, the smell of it following the truck to the next address. Weekly cutting is the backbone: even height, a tidy pattern, no missed strip along the property line where somebody stopped caring. Trimming and edging tuck the corners in, and the clippings go with the crew rather than into the gutter. By noon the route is done and a dozen yards look like somebody thought about them, which is exactly what happened.
