About BK Lawn Care and Services

Pipestem Creek comes down out of the north country to meet the James just above Jamestown, and the cottonwoods leaning over both banks hold the cool a little longer than the open prairie ever does. BK Lawn Care and Services likes the back half of an August day for that reason — the heat easing, the shadows stretching across the yards on the west-facing streets. The work is mowing on a steady weekly turn, trimming tight along foundations and mailbox posts, cutting the edges so the walk reappears where the grass had crept over it. Cleanup comes last, because a job isn't finished while the clippings are still lying where they fell. There's real satisfaction in that final pass, laid down while the light is still gold on the water.
