About Steve Petersen Construction

Late August in Hunter brings heavy heat and a sky bleached nearly white at noon, with grasshoppers clicking up from every road shoulder and crickets taking over after dark. Steve Petersen Construction offers lawn care here, and this is the stretch that tests a yard: grass that wants to brown out, weeds creeping in at the borders, growth that slows but never quite stops. Mowing at the right height, with the edges along house and drive kept neat, holds a lawn together through the dog days. Then the first cool September night blows through, and the yard is still standing green. In a small prairie town, that kind of endurance is worth some pride.
