Baker Snow and Ice Management

About Baker Snow and Ice Management

When an Alberta clipper drops down the valley, Moorhead can go from clear to whiteout in an hour — no hills to slow the wind, nothing between the town and the weather but distance. Baker Snow and Ice Management plans for exactly that. They plow, they clear the drifted walks, and they treat the glaze that forms when the wind polishes packed snow into something like glass. On the mornings when sundogs flank a small white sun, the cold is serious and so are they. Their business is the difference between a town that stops and a town that shrugs and gets on with it.
