About Atlas Landscapes

Grand Forks sits on the floor of an old glacial lake, which is why the land runs flat to the horizon and the sky does most of the talking. Atlas Landscapes works that black valley soil, where turf grows thick and fast once the days stretch out in May. Mowing, edging, trimming and seasonal cleanups keep a yard from disappearing into all that vigor. Late in the day the light comes in low across the fields west of town, and every mowed line stands out in relief — that is the part worth doing well. Yards in the city and places out on the section roads get the same attention.
