About Dirt Pro LLC

The same black dirt that grows Walsh County's wheat and sugar beets spends half the year buried under snow, and Dirt Pro LLC treats that cover the way a farmer treats the field underneath it — something to be worked with care, not fought. Grafton sits low and flat in the Red River Valley, so a storm here doesn't so much fall as arrive sideways, pushed by a wind that has nothing to slow it down for miles in any direction. Crews move driveway to driveway through town, clearing a path back to the bare gravel and blacktop long before the ground beneath it shows again in April. It's unglamorous work done at odd hours, headlights cutting through blowing snow on empty streets. Every cleared lot is a small bet that spring circles back to this same ground.
