Roger's Maintenance

About Roger's Maintenance

South Fargo has grown for decades out past 13th Avenue toward West Acres, new subdivisions of curving streets and cul-de-sacs laid over ground that was still farmland a generation ago, flat enough that every yard drains toward the next. Roger's Maintenance runs those newer streets in the evening, after the day's commute has already packed one layer down, clearing driveways and circling the cul-de-sac bulbs where snow collects with nowhere else to go. The valley's wind treats a new subdivision the same as an old one — no fence or shelterbelt has had time to grow tall enough to slow it — so a driveway cleared at 6 p.m. can need a second look by the ten o'clock news. Getting every address on a long curving street done before full dark is the whole job, plain and repeated, street after street, cul-de-sac after cul-de-sac.
