Oberg Enterprise

About Oberg Enterprise

Out past the shoreline the freighters run the channel of Lake St. Clair all summer, and the wind that crosses them comes ashore into the Woods carrying the smell of water. Oberg Enterprise works underneath it: mowing, trimming, edging and clearing away everything the cutting leaves behind. In winter that same wind arrives with an edge on it, and the job turns to plowing driveways, clearing walkways and salting against ice. The lake hands this corner of Michigan its weather in both directions, and the work simply follows along. Grosse Pointe Woods and the towns strung along the shore are the territory.
