SnowDawg

About SnowDawg

Fargo dog owners keep walking their routes along the river trails and neighborhood blocks no matter what the thermometer says, boots crunching past frozen park benches on mornings the wind chill runs well below zero. SnowDawg keeps those same blocks passable, clearing driveways and the sidewalks that connect to the trailheads before the earliest walkers head out with a leash in one hand and coffee in the other. Nothing slows a north wind here — the valley runs open and level clear to the Minnesota line — so a walk cleared at 6 a.m. can be drifted shut again by the time the sun is fully up, and the route gets run twice on the hardest days. There is a plain satisfaction in a path kept open for people determined to be outside anyway, boots on clean concrete instead of packed snow, all winter long.
