About Neis Services Inc

A storm that starts after supper in Edgeley can blow all night, and by daybreak Main Street and the side streets are carved into drifts with edges sharp as a knife. Neis Services Inc digs this small LaMoure County town out, working the dark hours so neighbors wake to a way out. The job calls for patience and a steady hand: clear down to the hard surface, square the edges along the walks, keep the banks low enough to see over at the corners. When the plowing is done and the sky clears to that hard winter blue, the whole town looks reopened. That is the reward of night work under a Dakota storm.
