Mr. Lawn

About Mr. Lawn

High-country summer afternoons build fast: clear blue at breakfast, towers of cloud by two, then a downpour that crosses in twenty minutes and leaves the grass steaming. Mr. Lawn cuts between those storms — mowing, trimming, edging and feeding lawns through South Yellowstone's brief, brilliant green season. Thin mountain air, cold nights and a growing window measured in weeks make a full, even lawn up here a genuine accomplishment. The payoff is a yard that holds its color against all that sage and pine, cut low and squared off where it meets the walk. Then the clouds stack up again and the whole afternoon starts over.
