Zabka Lawn Care

About Zabka Lawn Care

In late June the light lingers past nine o'clock over Bismarck, and the whole town turns gold — the river running wide toward Mandan, sprinklers ticking away one yard after another. Zabka Lawn Care keeps its rhythm in that long evening hour: cutting on a steady weekly turn, trimming close around mailbox posts, fence lines, and the shelterbelt trees somebody set out generations ago to break the west wind. Between cuts comes the slower work — weed control on turf that shares its ground with open prairie, feeding laid down before the July heat sets its jaw, aeration and fresh seed in the cool of September so roots go deep ahead of frost. Spring here starts with clearing off everything the winter dragged in from the coulees, and that first cut afterward is what makes a whole street look like summer again. Nothing fancy in the work. Just grass held even and edges held true, block after block from the south side out toward Lincoln.
