About Forde Tree Service LLC

On the open ground east toward Menoken, where farmers planted long rows of green ash and cedar decades ago to break the prairie wind, the snow doesn't fall so much as it travels — piling into drifts between the shelterbelt rows that can bury a farm lane in an afternoon. Forde Tree Service LLC works those same windbreak lines for tree care most of the year and knows exactly where the drifts will build once the ground freezes and the wind picks up again. Clearing a lane out here means reading the land the way you'd read a fence line, since the wrong angle just invites the next gust to fill it right back in. In town, the work looks more ordinary — driveways, walks, the odd business lot — but the same attention to where snow wants to go carries over block to block. Out on the prairie's edge or in on a quiet Bismarck street, the goal is the same stretch of clear ground, held against whatever the wind sends next.
