About 127 Home Services

West of Minot along U.S. Highway 2, Berthold rises from the prairie the way grain towns do: elevator first, then rooftops, then the long line of the railroad. 127 Home Services handles snow removal here when winter arrives off the northern plains, often at night and often sideways. The job is to have walks and driveways open before anyone needs to leave, the snow moved clear and the path scraped so boots find solid footing. There is a quiet pride in that early work, done in the blue hour while kitchen lights are only beginning to come on. In a town this size, a cleared doorstep is a kindness the whole street can see.
