After a hard line of storms comes through the pine ridges near Wolf Pit, the morning after is all cracked limbs and sap smell and somebody standing in the yard looking up. Panther Tree & Landscape works that morning — limbs taken down, damaged wood removed, brush cleared and hauled, canopies thinned so the next storm has less to grab. The rest of the year is quieter and just as necessary: pruning, stump and debris cleanup, mowing and trimming, and the landscape work that shapes the ground beneath the trees. Longleaf and hardwood both grow well in this sandy country, and both need somebody who knows when to cut and when to leave them alone. Panther Tree & Landscape covers Wolf Pit and the surrounding area.
